Your account stops working straight away. After a waiting period of 28 days, your name, email address, phone number, address, photo, ID and licence details, bank details and other personal information are permanently removed or anonymised, and your chat messages are deleted.
Payment records, receipts and dispute records are kept for about six years because UK tax and consumer law requires it. They are no longer linked to you personally. Reviews you wrote stay on the platform but show as written by "Deleted user".
If you sign in again within the 28-day waiting period, you can restore your account, including any provider credit balance. After the waiting period the deletion is permanent and unused credits are lost.
You cannot delete your account while you have a job in progress, a payment being held, or an open dispute. Finish or resolve these first.
Email privacy@vorkies.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify it is you and complete the request within 30 days.
