Not every provider has every check. Each profile shows which checks that provider has completed, so you can decide what matters for your job.
Every account confirms a one-time code sent by email and another sent by text message before it can be used. Everyone on Vorkies must be 18 or over.
Providers can verify their identity through Stripe Identity, a secure third-party service. The result is shown on their profile.
Providers upload their trade licence. Our team reviews it and approves or rejects it before it appears on their profile.
Providers upload proof of insurance, which our team reviews before it appears on their profile.
Providers submit background-check documents, which our team reviews before it appears on their profile.
To be paid, providers complete payout set-up with Stripe, which carries out its own identity and bank checks.
A provider shows the Verified badge when our team has approved their licence and they have completed payout set-up with Stripe. It is not a guarantee of the quality of any individual job, which is why we also show ratings and reviews and offer a dispute process.
